Pulp Planter Module

Two-Assembly Transplanting Module · Sold Separately or ZAP-Mounted

The Pulp Planter Module is a standalone transplanting unit comprising two precision sub-assemblies. It can be purchased and operated independently, or mounted directly to the ZAP platform for operator-guided field operation. Load Bio-Pulp trays into the upper magazine — the module handles extraction and in-ground placement automatically while one person guides navigation.

Upper Assembly — Tray Magazine

Dual-lane tray feed system with Bio-Pulp tray magazine. Holds multiple trays and advances them sequentially through the extraction zone. Belt-driven indexing via the black extrusion frame, driven by stepper motors.

Lower Assembly — Drill & Placement Head

Auger drill bit creates the precise planting hole. Guided placement tube delivers the extracted seedling plug directly into the hole. Linear actuators control depth. Brass bushings provide precise linear guidance.

Engineered around the Bio-Pulp Tray. Cell geometry, pin spacing, and ejection mechanics are co-designed — clean extraction every cell, every tray.

Drill, place, move. The lower head drills the hole, the placement tube guides the plug in, and the ZAP advances to the next position — fully automatic.

Modular interface. Mounts to the ZAP front bay in minutes. Can also be bench-operated or integrated into a custom platform.

The Bio-Pulp Seedling Tray is where your transplanting cycle begins. Fill it with AgroAlloy-treated soil, germinate your seedlings, and load it into the Pulp Planter Module. The tray's cell geometry is precision-matched to the module's extraction array — clean ejection every time, no torn roots, no crumbling plugs. When the trays are empty, compost them or toss them in recycling. No plastic accumulating in the barn, no washing trays between cycles. Just clean, repeatable seed prep from germination to field.
